The Ouzoud Waterfalls are located in the Azilal region, 150 km from Marrakech and 80 km from Beni Mellal. It is a region to which our agency regularly organizes trips for its customers, especially in summer to enjoy the cool temperatures and the 110-meter-high waterfalls that cascade down three levels.
Admired by visitors, this vast site is an important tourist attraction, often graced by rainbows. It is located in a lush green rural valley of red sandstone, planted with olive, almond, fig, and carob trees, where a dozen small traditional oil mills are still in operation. Excursions to Ouzoud offer tourists a wide range of activities: near the waterfall, you can take photos of the Barbary macaque, the only monkey in the world without a tail. Afterwards, you can enjoy a perfect day out with a picnic, followed by a visit to the medieval village of Tanermelt, located near the waterfalls, where you can get to know the local people and their way of life.
